Sheila has been a working artist for almost 40 years. She holds an MFA in Fine Art Photography. Her work has been exhibited in one-women and group shows throughout Florida and in her hometown of New York City. Her photographs have appeared in magazines, advertising and publications across the country. She was the lead photographer on "Women of Impact" at the Miami Museum in 1989 and maintained the project for 5 years. In 1989 she accepted a full-time faculty position at Ransom Everglades School where she created a traditional photography program that incorporated digital design into the curriculum. She recently resigned to persue a fulltime career as an artist. She has lived and worked in Coconut Grove, Florida for the past 25 years. |
